John David Peters music has been nominated for several New Mexico Music Awards, winning, with Ron Crowder and Steven Nery, The Norman Petty Producer’s Award in 2024 for his album In the Living.

His latest effort, In the Lonely, is a re-imagining of songs written in 2006. Working again with engineer and producer Ron Crowder, the album features some incredible talent including guitarist Claudio Tolousse, Justin Bransford on bass, keyboardist Brant Leeper and violinist Karina Wilson. There are 10 cuts on the album brilliantly arranged in a folk/Americana style and cover a wide range of emotions and topics.
